Jumbangla Desk: Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Bhaluka Office has conducted an isolation operation after illegal gas connection led by two youth party leaders in Sreepur, Gazipur. On Thursday (October 17) at noon, 50 illegal gas connections were disconnected in Mulaid North Para area under the leadership of Executive Magistrate-Sripur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Atahar Shakeel.

Illegal gas connection

After August 5, Liton Bepari and Jahangir, leaders of the upazila youth party, gave the connections in this area in exchange for a large sum of money.

Deputy General Manager of Titus Gas Mymensingh Office Suranjit Kumar, Bhaluka Zonal Office Manager Shahjahan Ali and members of law and order forces were present in the operation.

Suranjit Kumar, deputy general manager of Titus Gas Mymensingh office, said that operations have been started to disconnect the illegal gas connection. Regular operations will be conducted to disconnect all illegal connections and legal action will be taken against those responsible.
