A press release issued by the chief adviser's press wing on Friday (October 18) said the chief adviser had undergone a minor medical procedure to remove a skin lesion at CMH in Dhaka on Thursday. He has received treatment again today.

It is said that on Friday morning he performed his duties again.

As part of the ongoing dialogue, he will meet the leaders of several political parties on Saturday (October 19).
