This is not a fiction, but a present reality. A recent analysis of several Android apps and pre-installed applications, such as MTKLogger, revealed that such apps can keep you under surveillance. Most Android users have found some apps installed on their phones by default. But the problem is, these apps cannot be deleted even if the user wants to. One of them is MTKLogger, which is deeply embedded in the phone's system and there is no way to delete it directly.

Dangers of MTKLogger

Source code analysis of MTKLogger (version 5.0.0) has proven that it is capable of creating high risk. This app may threaten your personal data and privacy. Hackers can easily take advantage of these vulnerabilities to take control of your phone. Even information like your call history, messages, location, and online activities can easily get into their hands.

Default apps are silent messengers of danger

Besides pre-installed apps like MTKLogger, almost every Android phone has some apps that you can't delete. Although these apps don't appear to be directly harmful, they actually monitor the phone's activities and can send important information elsewhere without your knowledge. In short, your phone can be a silent spy against you.

How these apps can cause harm

Misuse of personal information: Hackers can steal important information by collecting your phone's log files or information about app usage.

Taking control of the phone: Some apps can take full control of your phone's screen, which can happen without your knowledge.

Unnecessary app permissions: Some apps can monitor phone activities with unnecessary permissions without your knowledge.

Malware attacks: Hackers can easily install malware through default installed apps, which is a big threat to your device and data.

How to be aware

Learn about the default apps installed on your phone and review their functionality.

Remove extra permissions. Don't allow apps to run with unnecessary permissions. If necessary, disable Force.

Update software regularly. Keep your phone's operating system and security features updated to protect against new risks.

Use reliable security apps. Scan the phone with a good quality security app and take necessary security measures.

The bottom line is - your protection is in your hands. Consult a specialist if necessary.

Following the source code analysis of the MTKLogger app, some of the data was found:

1. Full System Access: The app can display anything on your phone screen using the "android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW" permission. Hackers can take full control of your phone using this.

2. Collect information about other apps: By using the "android.permission.GET_TASKS" permission, the app can collect information about other apps running on your phone. Hackers can use this information to steal your personal information.

3. Log file access: The app can access your phone's log files using the "android.permission.READ_LOGS" permission. These log files contain detailed information about your phone usage, such as which apps you use, which websites you visit, etc. Hackers can use this information to learn more about you.

From these data we can clearly say that MTKLogger app is a big threat to user's phone. If this app is installed, the user is likely to get personal information stolen, phone hacked and face many other problems.

Your mobile phone is not only for communication, it is also a repository of your personal information. Pre-installed risky apps, which cannot be removed, can also be dangerous for your data. So, a little awareness and proper steps can keep you safe. Safety is in your hands, so take right decision on time.
