On Friday (October 18) afternoon, the local BNP leaders and activists held this program on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the Amtala area of ​​Member Bari of Sadar Upazila.

At that time, Farooq Ahmed, Solaiman Hossain and other leaders participated in the protest march under the leadership of BNP leader Jilal Uddin.

Speakers there said that he has been detained in jail in connection with various false cases including grenade attack and 10 truckload of weapons cases. He has been sentenced to different terms in several judgments in these cases.

The speakers claimed that these cases were politically motivated and demanded immediate unconditional release of Babur.

Highlighting the various contributions of Lutfuzzaman Babar, the speakers said that during the BNP government, he was a successful state minister for home affairs and helped many people in his district in various ways, apart from his constituency. As a result, he became known as a popular leader.

After the speech, the protest procession passed through the highway from Member Bari Bazar to Bhavanipur Bazar and ended.
