International Desk: Indian Meteorological Department or Mausam Bhavan has said that a cyclone will intensify in the North Andaman Sea next Sunday (October 20). This cyclone is likely to become a depression on Tuesday (October 22). After that it will get stronger and gradually move towards northwest.

Cyclone

Alipur Meteorological Department official Habibur Rahman Biswas gave the information on Friday (October 18).

He said, due to the change in the weather, rain will start in the coastal districts from Tuesday afternoon with stormy winds. For this reason, fishermen have been banned from going to the deep sea in the central and southern Bay of Bengal on October 22 and 23.


Besides, there may be warning of heavy rain in several districts of South Bengal on October 23 and 24, i.e. Wednesday and Thursday. Light and moderate rainfall warning has been issued in all districts of South Bengal these two days. Apart from this, there will be rain in the districts of North Bengal as well.

However, the India Meteorological Department has yet to give any details about the cyclone. However, various models in Europe and America indicate that there is a risk of cyclone in the last week of October.

European and American models say that a cyclone will form in the Bay of Bengal between October 24 and 26. This cyclone may hit Barisal in Bangladesh from Odisha. It is possible that this cyclone has been named 'Dana'.
