Jumbangla Desk: Two sides clashed over the sale of mosque donation goats in Paikgacha, Khulna. A worshiper named Fajr Ali Ghazi (55) was killed in this. The deceased's son-in-law Shaheen Sardar was injured in this incident. He has been admitted to hospital.

The incident took place at Shyamnagar Paschim Para Jame Masjid of Kapilmuni Union of Upazila on Friday (October 18) afternoon.

The deceased Fajr Ali Ghazi is the son of deceased Muslim Ghazi of Shyamnagar.

Police and locals said that before Friday prayers, two sides had an argument over the sale and purchase of a goat donated to Purbapara Jame Masjid in Shyamnagar, Kapilmuni UP. This casualty occurred in a clash at one point.

Kapilmuni Shyamnagar Paschim Para Jame Masjid committee former president Momin said that a person donated a goat to the mosque. At that time, the two sides clashed due to a dispute over calling the price. A worshiper named Fajr Ali Ghazi was seriously injured. When he was taken to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor declared him dead.

Confirming the matter, Paikgacha Police Inspector (OC) Tushar Kanti Das said that a person had donated a goat to the mosque. Fajr Ali was beaten to death during an argument about that goat.

The police are preparing to send the dead body to the morgue for post-mortem. The matter is being investigated. He also did not know that the operation to arrest those involved in the incident is continuing.
