Jumbangla Desk: Former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-15 Constituency and former Minister of State for Industry Kamal Ahmed Majumdar has been arrested.
On Friday (October 18), Kafrul Thana police arrested him from his house in Gulshan in the capital.
Confirming the matter, Kafrul Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Golam Mostafa said that Kamal Ahmed Majumdar was arrested from Gulshan area on Friday night. There are several cases against him in connection with the anti-discrimination student movement.
He also said that Kamal Ahmed Majumdar will be brought to court on Saturday and remand will be sought.
