On Friday (October 18), a common buyer said this while purchasing goods from the ``profitless shop'' at Shivbari junction in the city. The anti-discrimination student movement organized this shop in Khulna to provide the common people with daily necessities at affordable prices. The shop is open on Fridays from 3 pm to 8 pm.
Khulna University representative of anti-discrimination student movement, Minhajul Abedin Sahad said, products were purchased at wholesale prices and sold to common people at that price. Despite the hostile weather, there was a huge response from the buyers. With everyone's cooperation, there is a desire to make such stores in the future. So that common people can buy necessary products with some relief.
Hriday Gharami, a member of Khulna market control task force of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that pulses are available at Tk 99 for 1 kg, Tk 12 for eggs, Tk 50 for potatoes 1 kg, Tk 100 for onions and Tk 100 in non-profit shops. Consumers buy products according to their needs.
