The court remanded former member of parliament (MP) Kamal Ahmed Majumdar for three days.

He was remanded in the case of the murder of Ikramul, a student killed in the anti-discrimination student movement.
Earlier, Kamal Ahmed Majumdar was arrested by Kafrul Thana police from his home in Gulshan of the capital on Friday at around 1 pm.
Kafrul police station OC Kazi Golam Mostafa confirmed the matter. He said that Kamal Ahmed Majumdar was arrested from Gulshan area on Friday night. There are several cases against him in connection with the anti-discrimination student movement.
