Hindus are very tolerant so many times Hindus are attacked. In recent times Hindus are being tortured in neighboring countries. Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar made such a complaint.
In a report on Friday (October 18), the Indian media Hindustan Times reported this.
Without naming any country specifically, Dhankar urged Hindus to pay more attention to the 'humanitarian crisis', saying, 'See our religious places being desecrated...It is not appropriate to be too tolerant of such transgressions.'
The report also said that Jagdeep Dhankar appeared in a function organized in New Delhi on the occasion of the foundation day of the National Human Rights Commission on Friday. Speaking there, he said, 'Hindus of neighboring countries are affected today. The so-called policy teachers have turned a deaf ear to this incident.'
Dhankar also said, 'What is going on is completely against human rights. Meanwhile we are also very tolerant. It is not right to tolerate so much. Imagine if you were a victim of what is going on there?'
Indian Vice President believes that human rights cannot be a tool for bilateral relations between any country. According to him, you preach what you practice.
Pointing to the United States, he said, 'Look at our school system. We don't have any such cases here. Some countries claim to be very advanced, but there are regular ones'.
The US administration has claimed that religious freedom is decreasing in India. Human rights experts, including the United States, have been claiming that religious freedom in India is gradually eroding. Day by day, people's religious freedom is being taken away in India.
On this, Dhankar said, 'There are some evil forces who are always trying to tarnish India. They question the human rights of our country. But India will not take any knowledge from them on human rights issues.'
