Bangladesh Private College Honours-Masters Teachers Federation has strongly condemned and protested the incident of police attack on a teacher-teacher who was injured in a peaceful sit-in program demanding MPO membership.

Besides, they announced to hold application to advisor program to the chief advisors and human bonds all over the country on October 23 and 24 to demand MPO membership.
On Friday afternoon, Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in a press conference organized in Sagar-Rooney Hallroom, the organization announced the program by condemning this protest.
In a press conference, Bangladesh Private College Honors Masters Teachers Federation President Nekbar Hossain said in a written statement that their educational institutions have been holding various programs to demand MPO membership. In continuation of this, they were holding the Marches to Yamuna announced program in front of the main gate of the Shiksha Bhavan till the afternoon of October 17 while holding the peaceful stand program on October 15. At this time, the police attacked the sit-in program. Several teachers were seriously injured in the reckless baton charge by the police. Later they sat on the street.
He said that after this incident, Ramana Zone DC Masood led by the food department, launched water cannons, sound grenades and teargas. Condemning and protesting this heinous attack by the police, they demanded trial of the guilty police officers including DC Masud of Ramna zone.
