Even if the light of the eyes is extinguished, they dream of higher education with the light of the heart

4 visually impaired people from Pabna have successfully passed the HSC examination this year with light in their eyes but with light in their hearts. All 4 of them are residential students of Singha Human Welfare Trust, Pabna.

Among these 4 visually impaired students - son of Chand Ali Pramanik of Dogachi village of Pabna Sadar Upazila. Al Amin Hossain (GPA 2.92), Rabiul Islam (GPA 3.42) son of Jalal Uddin of Khairhat village in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi, Abdus Sabur (GPA 2.90) son of Abdus Sattar Molla of Santhia in Pabna and Isaac Pramanik of Chartarapur village in Pabna Sadar upazila. Shaquille received a certificate (GPA 2.83).

According to related sources, these visually impaired students study as residential students at the entire cost of Singha Human Welfare Trust in Pabna. Among them, students Al Amin Hossain and Rabiul Islam from Pabna Dogachi High School and College, Abdus Sabur from Shaheed M Mansoor Ali College and Shakeel Pramanik from Islamia Degree College participated in the HSC examination.

The students said that their eyes had gone out; But they are living the dream of becoming independent by taking higher education. They dream like others. Therefore, even if the light of the eye is extinguished, they have succeeded with strong spirit and the light of the heart. They expressed the feeling that they will get involved in the work of the country after being educated in higher education.


Founder and Chairman of the Trust Professor (Retd.) Abul Hossain and Vice Chairman Assistant Professor Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain said that visually impaired, orphans, poor, needy and guardianless boys are given accommodation, food and medical treatment at their own expense of the Human Welfare Trust. Every year students from this institution are participating in SSC, HSC, Degree, Honors and Master's examinations and are keeping their marks of achievement. They study in special braille system. The visually impaired from different parts of the country are cared for in this trust free of charge and after being trained, they go back to work.
