Eyewitnesses said that around 10 am, hundreds of employees gathered at Shah Bagh and stopped traffic in the surrounding area. At this time, many passengers can be seen getting off the bus and walking towards their destination.

Eyewitnesses also said that there was heavy traffic on the surrounding roads. Working people including private office goers have suffered a lot. Vehicles carrying sick people are also being blocked. All roads leading from Hotel Intercontinental to Dhaka University and Paltan Press Club are completely closed. Many of the protestors are asking to block the road. Masks on their faces.

A protester from Sylhet said, job nationalization is our one point demand. We will continue the agitation till the demands are met.
