Jumbangla Desk: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has given a glimpse of thunderstorm with gusty winds in the evening in six regions of the country. The agency has asked the river ports of these regions to display warning signals.

This information was given in the weather forecast for inland river ports of the country till 6 pm from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday (October 19).

According to the forecast, a temporary gusty wind speed of 45-60 km per hour may blow over the Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali and Comilla regions from the west or south-west by 6 pm.
Rain or thundershowers may also occur during this time.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
