International Desk: The occupying Israel will use the body of the main leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, as a 'bargaining' for the release of the hostages. Last Wednesday, Sinwar lost his life at the hands of Israeli forces in Tel Sultan area of Rafah, Gaza. News CNN

His body was flown to Israel the following Thursday for identification. After the examination, it is known that it is the body of the head of Hamas. His frozen body was then taken to a secret location by occupying Israel.

Two Israeli sources told US news outlet CNN that the priority would be to use Sinwar's body to bring back the hostages. Which means Sinwar's body will not be buried now.

On October 7 of last year , Hamas took about 250 people from Israel to Gaza. Among them, more than 100 hostages still remain there.

"If Hamas is willing to return dead and alive Israelis in exchange for Sinwar's body, that's fine," a source told CNN.

The source said only through a hostage exchange could Hamas retrieve Sinwar's body. And his body may never be taken to Gaza. If Sinwar is buried in Gaza, a mausoleum may be built around him, the source said.

Meanwhile, after the killing of Sinwar, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the war would end if Hamas dropped its weapons and released its hostages. However, on Friday, Hamas said that Israel must first stop the war in Gaza and withdraw all its troops. The hostages will be released soon after. Otherwise, you will not get any hostages.
