Jumbangla Desk: Former Law Minister Anisul Haque has been sent to jail after 2 days of remand in Al-Amin murder case of Badda police station . On Saturday (October 19), Anisul Haque was produced in the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court by the investigating officer of the case, Badda police station.
At that time, for the sake of proper investigation of the case, he requested to keep the accused in jail until the investigation work is completed. After the hearing, the Metropolitan Magistrate said. The court rejected Ali Haider's bail application and ordered him to be sent to jail.
In the application, it is said that important information related to the case has been found in questioning the accused. In the current reality of the country, the accused at the leadership level of Awami League are fleeing the country in various ways. Anisul Haque was also arrested by the law enforcement agencies while fleeing the country. The accused is likely to abscond if released on bail.
According to the affidavit of the case, on the day of the fall of the government on August 5, Al Amin Hossain joined the joyous procession in Badda area of the capital. Al Amin was killed when 'Awami-backed terrorist forces' opened fire there. In that incident, the mother of the deceased Al Amin filed a murder case at Badda police station on September 21. Anisul Haque was made accused number 4 as the 'planner and guide' in the case. In view of the application of the investigating officer of the case to reveal the main mystery of the incident and collect information of the remaining accused, the court ordered the remand of Anisul Haque for 2 days in the last installment on October 14.
So far, the court has arrested Anisul Haque in more than half a hundred murder cases of Motijheel, Mirpur, Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Adabar, Badda, Banani police stations of the capital. This former minister of the Awami League government has also been remanded from time to time.
