The brand has announced that the Redmi A4 5G phone is the world's first smartphone with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor including India. This processor is said to be built on 4nm fabrication, similar to the 4 Gen 2 processor. Rather it supports 90fps FHD+ video, has dual 12-bit ISP camera support, a powerful modem for dedicated gigabit 5G connectivity and supports dual frequency GNSS (L1 + L5) with NAVIC.

The Redmi A4 5G has been launched in Black, Blue and White colors by the brand. The image shows a large round camera module with four cutouts on the back panel of the phone. It is expected to have a dual camera setup and LED light. The fourth cutout is believed to be for Luke only. The front panel of the phone has a flat screen panel. The right panel of this phone will have power and volume buttons. The front panel of the phone has the company's branding at the bottom and at the back.

The company said that the Redmi A4 5G phone may be launched in the near future for less than Rs 10,000. This is expected to be the price of the base model of this phone. The top model of the phone can be priced in the range of Rs 12,000.
