In a small village there was a poor Muslim man, whose name was Hasan. Hasan was living in a dilapidated house, but in his heart he had deep faith in Almighty God. Every morning Hasan went to work in the fields, where he cultivated small amounts of rice and vegetables.
The villagers used to make funny comments about Hasan's poverty, but Hasan was never disappointed. Rather, he firmly believed that Allah would always have mercy on him. Although his life was difficult, Hassan was always ready to help others.
One day an old woman of the village fell ill. He has no money and needs medical help. No one in the village came forward to help. Hasan heard it and quickly went to him. Hasan realized that money is needed for the old woman's treatment.
Hasan then sold his vegetables and gave some money from the saved money for the treatment of the old woman. The old woman expressed her gratitude to Hasan for his service and cooperation. The old woman's treatment was successful and she gradually recovered.
Meanwhile, Hasan's hard work and self-sacrifice made the villagers look up to him. They realized that even though he was poor, Hassan was a man with a great heart. He taught them that service to humanity never defines the line of poverty.
In time, Hasan's example spread through the village. Others also started coming forward to help. They realized that Hassan's humanity brought a new perspective to their lives.
The greatest lesson of Hasan's life was that service in the way of Allah is the true prosperity. Poverty did not affect his soul, rather he blessed himself by serving humanity. Hasan's name began to be spoken in the village, and he became everyone's favourite.
One day a big festival was organized in the village. The villagers decided that they would organize a function in Hasan's honour. The event was a recognition of Hasan's humanitarian qualities. Everyone talked about Hasan, praised his work and sacrifice.
People who looked down on Hasan in the past now appreciated his service and humanity. They realized that the power of humanity and love improves human society.
Hassan thought this day, how his work has changed the people of the village. He knew that if people have faith in God and respect for humanity, poverty can never be an obstacle.
Finally, Hasan worked for humanity in the village till the end of his life. His life was an example, which inspired others. He proved how a small but firm step of one person can change an entire society.
Hassan's story teaches us that service to humanity is never judged on the basis of our status or poverty. Rather, it determines the true size of our hearts. We all can be great by working in the way of Allah.
Thus Hasan dedicated his life to others and even after his death his story lives on in people's minds. His example reminds us that any sacrifice for humanity is noble.
So, we should have a heart like Hasan and serve humanity. May Allah guide us all to this path.
