Abdul Alim, a student of the 2018-19 academic year of the Bangla department, is the Chhatra League leader who fell under the cannon. He is the Literary Affairs Secretary of the branch Chhatra League.


It is known that the semester final examination of the 2018-19 academic year of the Bengali department started at 11 o'clock. Chhatra League leader Abdul Alim participated in the examination. Later on getting the news of his arrival in the campus, ordinary students gathered in front of the Bengali department and raised slogans against the Chhatra League and the Awami League. Later, he was taken out of the examination hall and handed over to the police station in the presence of university administration and anti-discrimination movement students.


At that time, Chhatra League leader Abdul Alim said, 'I have come to take the exam on my own initiative. I thought I would come late and attend the exam and get the pass marks and leave earlier. But I didn't understand that it would go so far.' At that time, he said about the charges brought against him, 'I have no involvement with these.'


In this regard, the university professor. Shahinuzzaman said, 'We arrived there as soon as we learned about the incident. Later he was rescued and handed over to the police station by the proctorial body and the students of the anti-discrimination student movement. The allegations leveled against him will be investigated and further action will be taken.'
