Jumbangla Desk: After one year, departmental division (Science, Humanities and Business Education) is being started again in secondary education. On Wednesday (October 16), the Department of Secondary and Higher Education issued a directive in this regard in a letter.

It is said that from the academic year 2024, instructions were issued regarding division of departments i.e. science, humanities and business education department in ninth grade at the secondary level.

But according to the new decision, in the academic year 2025, the SSC and equivalent examinations of students who have passed class 10 will be held on the basis of the National Curriculum 2012 and the division of science, humanities and business education branches will continue.

For this reason, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has announced to formulate a short syllabus for the students of class 10.

The letter also states that in the academic year 2025, general, madrasa and technical education students who have passed class 9 will be subject to the same branch division, branch-wise subject, number division, manpower distribution, evaluation process as in the 2023 academic year. In this case, the SSC and equivalent exams of 2027 will be held on the basis of the complete syllabus.
