Jumbangla Desk: The interim government has taken the initiative to set up a special lounge at the Dhaka airport for workers going to the Middle East. Special lounges for Middle Eastern travelers are expected to open at the airport from this month. On October 5, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Adviser Asif Nazrul said that a separate special lounge will be arranged at the airport for the labor brothers and sisters who are going to the Middle East. We have already fixed the place, talked to Civil Aviation. Hopefully it will be done in two weeks.

The advisor said, the suffering of expatriate labor brothers and sisters will be eased in the lounge hall. Apart from this, there will be other VIP facilities as well. From the moment they enter the airport to boarding the plane, they will have a person at every level to assist them in the lounge.

In a press conference on September 24, Expatriate Welfare Adviser Asif Nazrul said that those who have returned home after being sentenced abroad in solidarity with the student movement, we will arrange for their rehabilitation on behalf of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare. So far we have been able to list 87 people who have returned. We will arrange employment for them in Bangladesh.

He also said that there is a Pravasi Kalyan scheme, there is a bank, there is a Wage Earners Welfare Board, there is BMET. In short, we will arrange their employment or business ventures through our ministry. If necessary, there is a private sector, with whom I will contact.
