This information was informed in the notification about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (October 19).

According to the notification, 449 people from Dhaka City Corporation and the rest are outside Dhaka among those who were admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours (from 8:00 am yesterday Sunday to 8:00 am today). During this time, 972 people were discharged from the hospital.

So far this year, 48 thousand 582 people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue. Among them, 44 thousand 387 people got clearance. 241 people died.

Dengue infection and death were the highest in the history of the country last year. Then 3 lakh 21 thousand 179 people were infected with dengue and admitted to the hospital. One thousand 705 people died. The highest number of dengue deaths last year was in September, at 396.

At that time, 79 thousand 598 people were admitted to the hospital with dengue. In the following month, 359 people died of dengue in October. At that time, 67 thousand 769 people were admitted to the hospital with dengue.
