Jumbangla Desk: The funeral and burial of three expatriates who died in a fire in Malaysia have been completed. At around eight o'clock in the morning on Sunday, people flocked to the funeral of three remittance warriors in the courtyard next to the house in Ramzanbeg area of Munshiganj municipality. They were later buried at Ramzanbeg South Para Social Cemetery.
These three expatriates were burnt to death in an explosion in a chemical factory in Malaysia . All of them are residents of Ramzanbeg area of Munshiganj city. Families are mourning the tragic death of a relative.
Last Friday, they were seriously burnt in a severe explosion in multiple chemical factories in the SILC industrial area of Gelangpatar, Iskandar Puter, Johor State, Malaysia.
Jabbar Ali (42), son of Razzak Bhuiyan of Ramzanbeg village, died on Friday. Abul Kashem's son Abu Taher (32) and Mohiuddin's son Salam (24) died the next day while undergoing treatment. The news of the death of three expatriates cast a shadow of mourning on the area.
Locals urged the government to take responsibility for financial compensation and rehabilitation of the families of the victims.
