Jumbangla Desk: A case has been filed against 180 people, including Supreme Court lawyer and chairperson of human rights organization Law and Justice Center ZI Khan Panna, on the charge of attempting to kill Ahadul Islam by shooting and beating him on July 19 during the anti-discrimination student movement.

Thursday (October 17) injured Ahadul's father said. Baker (52) filed this case at Khilgaon police station.

According to the statement of the case, Ahadul and others were protesting near Meradia Bazar. Then unnamed BGB, police and Awami League activists opened fire on the orders of the other accused. Ahadul was shot at this time. When he fell on the ground, the accused who were present at the spot also beat him up. He was later taken to a nearby hospital.

In this case, the current Director General of BGB Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui has also been made an accused.

Confirming the matter, Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Daud Hossain told the media that the father of the injured has filed a case as a plaintiff. We have taken up the case. Now it will be investigated whether it is true or not.
