Life came to a standstill in the busyness of the city. Rahul, Sumi, and their friend Tasfi hatch a plan among themselves. They decided to go outside the city and find a lost city. In the old stories, it was heard that during the rainy season, a mysterious city made of hard rock emerges. They knew that the destination was not easy to reach, but the desire to gain some new experience made them enthusiastic.
They went out packing in the rain. The destination was a remote place in the middle of Haor, which was lost on old maps. “If nothing, at least I will learn something,” said Sumi.
The journey has begun. Rahul and Tasfi immediately started talking. Sumi was pointing the way by looking at the map sometimes. All of them were thinking about that mysterious city. The time passed between various talks and light jokes. But after entering the forest, the situation started to change.
The forest was thick, and the air cool. Tasfi said, "Does anyone come here? It is absolutely deserted.” Sumi said with a little fear, "What is the city really? Or is it just a story?”
A bit of mistrust was working between them, but there was no question of stopping. They went deeper. As they stepped forward, some new sounds began to reach their ears. Gradually, an ancient architecture came out in front of their eyes.
There was a towering pillar, and various broken gates round about. Rahul was the first to say, "This is the lost city!" “From a distance, it looks like a dreamland,” said Sumi enthralled.
The tension between them started to rise. Entering the city, they saw ancient artifacts. But after some time they noticed, there was a kind of horror. As we entered the city, darkness enveloped us.
"Should we have come here?" Tasfi said a bit worried. "Do we really understand what we're doing?" Sumi said.
Conflict started between them. But there was a thought in Rahul's mind, "What we are witnessing is not just history, it is also a test of our friendship." "If we stick together, we can handle anything," she said.
Now they decided to travel to different parts of the city. First they entered an ancient temple. When they entered the temple, they saw that there were some idols in the darkness. The idols had traces of pottery, which opened up a different world to them.
Tasfi said, "Is there something hidden here?" After sitting for a while he went and sat next to an idol. At that time a mysterious sound reached their ears. Everyone was stunned.
"What is it?" Sumi asked. "It looks like it's coming our way," Rahul said. They got a little scared. But in no time they realized that it was not an animal, but an ancient device, which might be working.
Suddenly, darkness began to thicken around the city. A storm broke out. The tension between them started to rise. Rahul said, “We have to get out of here. Something needs to be done for our safety.”
They quickly left the temple. But they came out and saw a strange sight. A kind of smoke was forming around and some strange sounds were coming out of that smoke.
"What's going on?" Sumi said scared. Rahul and Tasfi could not say anything. They were losing themselves in the darkness of the city.
But in between, Sumi saw an ancient text, carved on a wall. "For those who come together in true friendship, the secrets of this city will be revealed," read the text.
Rahul said, “That is our intention. We have to be together. Our friendship will keep us safe.”
“We can do everything together,” she said. "Okay, let's get to know this city," Tasfi said.
Finally, they ventured towards the center of the city. There was a big gate there, which had never been opened before. They started pushing the gate with all their might. As they pushed together, the gate opened.
Then they saw a wonderful sight—there was golden light, green trees, and a huge waterfall. "This is our victory," said Rahul.
They realized that their friendship and courage won them over. The history of the lost city will now live on in them. Together they shouted, “We are successful!”
Thus ended their expedition. They began to return home, but the memory of that strange city was in their minds, a lesson not only to them, but to all—true friendship is stronger than all.
This was their new adventure, and they knew that many more mysteries awaited them in the future.
