He died early on Sunday (20 October) at his residence in Dhaka. He was 81 years old at the time of his death.


This noble woman has left behind seven sons, five daughters, grandchildren and many other benefactors.

Marhuma's family sources said that apart from Sunday, Janaza will be held at Patia Adarsh ​​High School ground in Chattogram. Before that, the body of the deceased will be brought from Dhaka by helicopter. After the funeral, he will be buried in the family cemetery.

 


Chemon Ara Begum was born in a noble Muslim family of Haildhar village of Anwara upazila. She is the elder sister of late veteran politician Akhtaruzzaman Babu. The death of Chemon Ara Begum has cast a shadow of mourning in Patia and South Chittagong. He has inspired his children throughout his life to provide employment for the people of this region.
