Uncertainty over India's participation in the Champions Trophy in host Pakistan is still over. However, the PCB is making no effort to bring the Indian team to the soil of Pakistan. It is heard that a proposal has been made to the BCCI so that the Indian team can play in Pakistan on the day of the match and return to the country on the same day.

However, a source has informed that the matter is not true as PCB has given such a proposal to BCCI. A BCCI source told Dainik Jagran that they have not received any such proposal from the PCB. And even if they get it, they will reject it.
Earlier, the Indian media quoted PTI as saying that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a new offer to India for the Champions Trophy. The proposal said that after each match, the Indian cricket team would be allowed to return home on the day of the match if there were any concerns about their security in Pakistan.
As per the PCB's proposal, India will camp in Delhi, Chandigarh or Mohali during the tournament. On the day of the match, the PCB will arrange to take the Indian team to Pakistan in a chartered special plane and send them back.
However, BCCI said that this information is not correct. BCCI sources also said that even if such a proposal comes, they will not agree to it. And thus the uncertainty about India's participation in the upcoming Champions Trophy increased.
