The Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) has suggested that 14 parties, including the Awami League, should be kept away from all elections until the Genocide trial.
On Saturday (October 19) in the evening, the chief adviser's official residence in Yamuna. After the dialogue with Muhammad Yunus, the president of the party, Andalib Rahman Partha, told this to the journalists.
Andalib Rahman Parth suggested the formation of a commission to return money smuggled abroad.
BJP president said, 'As a political party, I want to know why action will not be taken against 14 parties including Awami League. Apart from starting the process of taking action against them, I have advised to keep 14 parties, including Awami League, away from all kinds of elections till the trial for genocide.
Parth said, 'It is important to have election-oriented reforms. There should not be any reform that seems like it should be done by the elected government. I have also suggested to see if any step can be taken regarding the last three elections.'
Before this, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Gano Forum, the delegation of the Nationalist Alliance and the Bangladesh Labor Party sat in dialogue with the Chief Advisor.
