Sagarfena village of Titas upazila of Comilla. Jannatul Ferdous, daughter of Jamal Sarkar, went missing on September 5. Not finding Jannat after six days of searching, her mother Halima Begum filed a kidnapping case on September 11 in Titas police station with Tarek Mahmud (Munna), the son of neighbor Abdul Karim, as the main accused.
Even after a month and a half of the case, Jannat could not be rescued and the police could not confirm whether he was alive or dead. Meanwhile, the police did not arrest Munna and his wife in the custody of in-laws. Various questions have arisen in the area about such indifference of the police.
Halima Begum, the victim's mother, is running around the police to find out if Jannat, the mother of two, is alive or killed and to find her daughter. Locals believe that paradise can be found only by interrogating Munna.
According to the statement of the case, Jannat was married in Kananagar village of the same upazila, two sons were born to him. Meanwhile, Abdul Karim's son Tarek Mahmud of Sagarfena village proposed love to Munna Jannat. If Jannat does not agree to this, he constantly shows various temptations and offers to marry. At some point Jannat agrees and they have physical relations. Jannat separated from her first husband when the matter became known in the area.
Later Sagarfena villager pressured her to marry Munna, her family refused. After several meetings, at one stage Munna agreed to marry Jannat and took one day. Suchtur Munna took a day and left for Saudi Arabia that night. After a year, Munna came to the country and secretly married elsewhere. When the victim came to know about the matter, Munna threatened him at home and said that if you keep talking about past incidents and create unrest in my family, I will kidnap you and make you disappear. What is said is what is done; On September 5, Munna phoned Jannat and said 'I have something to do with you, meet me. '
On September 5, Jannat sent her two children to Gauripur Multimedia School in a battery-powered auto-rickshaw and went down to Sikdar Road bus station in the upazila to meet Munna. Paradise has been missing ever since.
The victim's mother Halima Begum said, "It has been one and a half months since my daughter could not be rescued." Police did not arrest accused Munna. He also said, I went to Comilla SP Sir; Going to the police station every day - just saying we are trying. Plaintiff's question is what the police are trying to do? Munna is living with his wife from the custody of his in-laws, the police do not go there. At one stage, Halima Begum cried and said, I will not get my daughter?
The investigation officer of the case SI said. "We are trying and tracking some locations by tagging mobile numbers," Kaushar said. But there is no Munna. However, our efforts continue.
