Zeenat Jahan Adar, who was arrested in the case of Women and Child Torture Suppression Act for allegedly torturing a teenage domestic worker day after day, was granted 5 days remand by Bhatara Thana police, but the court granted 1 day remand.

This afternoon, the accused 21-year-old Zeenat Jahan Adar was taken to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court of Dhaka.

In this context, the lawyer of the state party, Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate Omar Farooq Faruqi told Jugantar, that a girl child is being tortured at home, it also defeats brutality. The girl was physically tortured day after day after being detained at home. The child's body was exposed to torture wounds at different places. The wounds are bleeding. Such brutality in the society will definitely be punished. The housemaid used to torture this little girl child for months. Even if the girl cried, she was not allowed to talk to her parents or any relatives. No money was given in exchange for work. Advocate Nuruzzaman, Advocate Anwarul Islam among others were present at that time.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, the 13-year-old girl Kalpana, who was subjected to inhumane torture, was rescued by the Bhatara police station from Bashundhara residential area of ​​the capital. At the same time, the accused girl Zeenat Jahan Adar was arrested.

Kalpana, the abused teenage domestic worker, told the media, "I am not allowed to eat properly." Gives only one meal a day. And always beat. Does not allow contact with parents.
