The Israeli military announced an attack on Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
In a statement on Sunday, the Israeli military said that they carried out the attack this morning based on intelligence information.
The statement added that several steps had been taken in advance to 'minimize civilian casualties in the attack', which led to early warning in the area.
The Israeli military said Al-Haj Abbas Salama was killed in their attack.
Al-Haj Abbas Salama was a senior commander of Hezbollah's Southern Front. Two more Hezbollah fighters named Rada Abbas Awada and Ahmad Ali Hussain died at this time.
Awada was a senior Hezbollah communications specialist, the Israeli military said in a statement.
Hussain also served as the head of an arms manufacturing unit.
However, Hezbollah has yet to comment on the attack.
