An official of the ministry told the Saudi media Arab News in this regard that the new prime minister and crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, has set a goal to get the country out of the oil-based economy by 2030. To achieve this goal, the government has decided to invest a large amount in various sectors including tourism, information technology. According to that decision, this amount will be invested in agriculture.


The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture said in a statement on Monday that the government of Saudi Arabia is organizing an international exhibition of agricultural products at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in the capital Riyadh from October 21 to 24. 370 companies from 28 countries of the world will participate in this exhibition with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi officials said the two main objectives of the exhibition are to encourage and inspire Saudi farmers and create public awareness about food safety.
