Jumbangla Desk: A young man named Naeem Mia (22) died in a motorcycle accident on the night before his younger sister's wedding in Shaistaganj, Habiganj.

The accident took place on Sunday (October 20) around 10:00 pm near the Faridpur canal bridge on the Shaistaganj-Deundi road in the Faridpur area of ​​the upazila. The deceased is the son of Hannan Mia of Nishapat village of Naeem Mia upazila.

The news of Naeem's death turned the joy of marriage into sadness in the family.

The burial of Nayan was completed on Monday afternoon with tears in the eyes of the relatives. The in-laws of the deceased Naeem's younger sister are also known to have participated. After the burial, younger sister Akalima got married in a mournful atmosphere.

Naeem's father said that Hannan Mia's family was planning a wedding in Nishapat village of the upazila on Monday.

The wedding preparations are almost complete. The whole house is abuzz with the presence of relatives. Everyone is just waiting for the wedding bell to ring. Naeem left on a motorcycle to deliver Naeem's uncle Jasim Mia to Shaistaganj.

On the way, as soon as they approached the Faridpur Deundi road bridge, their motorcycle collided with a bicycle coming ahead. Naeem died on the spot due to a severe injury to his nose.
