He said these things at a discussion meeting titled 'Ziaur Rahman's contribution to the development of hospitality and journalism' organized by the Zia Generation Committee at the National Press Club's Maulana Akram Khan Hall on Wednesday (October 23).

Dr. Asaduzzaman Ripon said that President Sahabuddin will resign anytime. He should resign. He is not qualified to be president. He is a very corrupt man.

He further said, we heard that he has become a citizen of Barbados. It seems to happen only in Bangladesh. A citizen of another country becomes the President of this country.
