Jumbangla Desk: The top 3 leaders of BNP held a meeting with the chief advisor of the interim government, Muhammad Yunus.
BNP Standing Committee members Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salah Uddin Ahmed attended the meeting at Rashtriya Guest House Jamuna on Wednesday (October 23) morning.
After the unscheduled meeting of BNP leaders, Nazrul Islam Khan, a member of the party's standing committee, told reporters, "We see that fallen fascism and their allies are trying to create a political and constitutional crisis in the country through various strategies.
The leader of BNP said, "We need to strengthen our national unity in order to protect this change and restore democracy, which we have achieved by fighting for a long time and at the cost of many comrades' blood." We should all be alert so that no one can somehow create a new constitutional or political crisis in the country.
Nazrul Islam Khan also said that if the allies of the fallen dictatorship try to create any constitutional or political crisis, then we will deal unitedly with the pro-democracy and agitating political parties and various organizations.
BNP Standing Committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salah Uddin Ahmad were also present in this meeting with the Chief Advisor.
Meanwhile, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam also briefed the journalists after the Chief Adviser's meeting with BNP.
The press secretary said that the meeting with BNP is a part of the ongoing dialogue.
