Jumbangla Desk: A one-year-old child named Tuba Mani died after an olive branch was stuck in his throat in Kishoreganj's Katiyadi. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at Ukhrasal village in Ashmita union of the upazila.

The deceased is the daughter of Mujibur Rahman of Ukhrasal village of Achmita union of Tuba Mani upazila.

It is known that on Wednesday afternoon, while playing with clay, an olive seed got stuck in his throat while swallowing it. Beachy choked and started convulsing. The relatives immediately took Tuba to Katiyadi Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Resident Medical Officer of Katiyadi Upazila Health Complex Dr. Faria Rahman said that the child named Tuba Mani died before being brought to the hospital.
