Principal Abdur Rauf posted this movement on his Facebook on July 18, referring to the disabled generation. After this incident, lecturer Tabassum Raihan Mustazir Tamanna filed a written complaint with the Deputy Commissioner on October 20, demanding the final dismissal of Principal Abdur Rauf and his quick arrest.
Abdur Rauf Sarkar joined as Principal of North Bengal College on 14th December 2021. It is alleged that since joining, he has been harassing the teaching staff in various ways by unfair and unethical behavior. Protesting his irregularities would have escalated the harassment.
According to related sources, English department lecturer Tabassum Raihan Mustazir temporarily suspended Tamanna on March 15, 2023 for not agreeing to the principal's unethical proposal and filed a case in the Rangpur Cyber Tribunal on April 8 of the same year. Subsequently, when teacher Tabassum Raihan Mustazir Tamanna filed a writ petition on February 23, 2023, the High Court issued a ruling and the court ordered a stay of dismissal on March 21 this year.

On April 28 of this year, he recommended to the Ministry of Education to take action against Principal Abdur Rauf after investigating the irregularities and corruption from the District Commissioner's office. On the other hand, the lecturer also alleged that the teacher Tabassum Raihan Mustazir was preventing Tamanna from entering the college.
In the meantime, he started a hunger strike at the gate of the Deputy Commissioner's office on October 20 in connection with posting on Facebook. The lecturer broke his hunger strike when the district commissioner assured to accept the demand.
After investigating the complaint made by the lecturer, the district administration found the truth of promoting the anti-discrimination student movement as a disabled generation. Assistant Commissioner (Education) SM Shafayat Akhtar Noor issued a letter on October 21 directing the upazila secondary education officer to file a case with the local police station against the principal Abdur Rauf government for mocking the anti-discrimination student movement.
Lecturer Tabassum Raihan Mustazir Tamanna said, 'The case and the order of dismissal will not do. If he is not arrested by next Sunday, I will go on hunger strike again.'
