He said these things in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday (October 23) in a standing program organized by Ziaur Rahman Samajkalyan Parishad. The program demanded withdrawal of the case and sentence against BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman and his unconditional release.

Dudu said, “The president has already insulted the popular uprising in Bangladesh and emboldened the dictators. If he is not dismissed, a fair election is not possible in the country."

He claimed, "There is a deep conspiracy going on against Bangladesh, which Sheikh Hasina and the neighboring countries are doing together. There are some Kulangars in the country who want to hand over Bangladesh to other countries. They must be brought to justice.”

Dudu, the former president of Chhatra Dal, said, "Tareek Rahman's 17-year struggle to restore democracy is unparalleled. He risked his life and fought for democracy. His mother, former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, was imprisoned repeatedly in the establishment of democracy, but did not abandon her countrymen."

He warned, “Toppling dictatorships will not solve all problems. The conspirators are still active and have strengthened themselves by robbing banks and looting state money. They have illegal weapons in their hands, with which they want to destabilize the country and bring back the dictatorship. So everyone has to be united and there can be no chaos until the elected government comes in.”
