A number of victims on the popular social media site Reddit, Mac Rumor Forum and Apple's Community Forum have reported that the iPhone 16 is restarting several times a day even after installing iOS 18.0.1 and 18.1, the latest version of iOS 18. Even suddenly the iPhone screen is not working as well as hanging.

Initially restart and hang problem appeared on iPhone 16 Pro model, but later on other models of iPhone 16 series are having the same problem, several users reported. However, they said that the number of restarts varies depending on the model of the new iPhone.

Apple, as always, did not immediately comment on the new iPhones suddenly restarting as well as hanging.
