Sports Desk: Bangladesh cricket team has the same appearance in the home field as in the tour of India. In the Mirpur Test against South Africa, Nazmul Hossain Shanto had to accept defeat by 7 wickets despite avoiding a shameful loss by an innings. The two teams will step into Chittagong to play the second Test. But Taskin Ahmed was not included in the team announced for the Chittagong Test team.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad for the Chittagong Test on Thursday (October 24). One change has been made to the squad for the second Test. Pacer Taskin Ahmed was left out of the second test despite not playing in the first test team. Instead, pacer Khaled Ahmed got a chance in the team.
There were four pacers in the first Test team. Initially, Shakib Al Hasan was kept in the team, but later young pacer Hasan Murad was taken into the team as his replacement. Bangladesh played with one pacer and three spinners in the first test. Chittagong Test may see changes in the team. There is a possibility of dropping one spinner and keeping two pacers in the team.
The second Test will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong from October 29.
