Jumbangla Desk: Member of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council Zainul Abdin Farooq urged the interim government to start the process of fair elections quickly without delaying the reform process, stating that there is a conspiracy to destabilize the country.

Zainul Abdin Farooq said this at a sit-in program in front of the National Press Club on Friday demanding the withdrawal of all cases filed against BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman. Dhaka's Senbag Forum organized the programme.

BNP leader Zainul Abdin Farooq said, ' There is a conspiracy to weaken the interim government , which is disrupting the reform process. I am the chief advisor. I urge Muhammad Yunus to be vigilant in this matter.' He also said that to start the election process, the reform of the Election Commission should be completed on an urgent basis with the opinion of the political parties.

Zainul Abdin Farooq also demanded that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India, be brought back to the country immediately. He claimed that Sheikh Hasina, who is involved in the disappearance of Ilyas Ali and Chowdhury Alam and the murder of many opposition leaders and activists, was recently seen walking in a park in Delhi under special security.

Zainul Abdin Farooq said, a dictator like Sheikh Hasina is walking in a park in Delhi, the capital of the country, which is proud of the world as a democratic state. But India is proud of the world as a democratic country. He said, 'I demand to the chief adviser of the interim government, bring back that Sheikh Hasina, against whom the International Criminal Tribunal of Bangladesh has issued an arrest warrant. He should be brought under the law and punished.

Zainul Abdin Farooq claimed that the ghosts of Awami League are involved with the syndicate that raised the prices of daily necessities and said that those involved with the potato syndicate, onion syndicate and sugar syndicate are again being cautious and conspiring.

BNP leader Zainul Abdin Farooq also said that the government should take swift action against the Awami businessmen's syndicate. This member of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council said, 'The longer we wait, the more they will assert themselves…. They should be brought to book and their paws should be broken.'
