Jumbangla Desk: Nobel laureate professor Dr. A writ has been filed in the High Court seeking directions to declare the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government a 'revolutionary government' . At the same time, the writ sought the direction to recognize those killed and injured in the July-August uprising as freedom fighters. The writ was filed on Thursday (October 24).

Next Sunday (October 24) the writ may be heard in the dual High Court bench of Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice Debashish Roy Chowdhury. Mofazzal Hossain, a resident of Raninagar, Naogaon, filed a writ in the High Court as a plaintiff.


Barrister ASM Shahriar Kabir, counsel for the writ petitioner, said that this writ has been filed to avoid the current government from getting into any kind of legal complications in the future.
