On Thursday (October 24) night after the clash with the general students, Central Chhatra Dal Office Secretary (Vice President rank) Md. This information was informed in a press release sent by Jahangir Alam.

According to the press release, according to the decision of the Central Parliament, the Sylhet Agricultural University Branch Student Union Committee has been declared dissolved. The new committee of this unit will be announced soon. Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nashir Uddin Nashir approved this decision.

Before this, around 1 o'clock in the night yesterday, there was a clash between Chhatra Dal leaders and ordinary students over the banner tearing incident. The clash took place at the second gate of the university. The clash continued till 2 am. Later, around 2 am, the army came and brought the situation under control.
