American businessman Jared Isaacman has achieved a rare experience of walking in space or spacewalk. Last month, he walked in space as an amateur astronaut by participating in the 'Polaris Dawn' mission of Elon Musk-owned SpaceX. Before the Polaris Dawn mission, astronauts had the opportunity to walk in space only through the government space agencies of different countries. Needless to say, Jared Isaacman's experience walking in space has been a bit different than that of trained astronauts.

The feeling of walking in space

Jared Isaacman, founder of electronic payments company Shift 4, described his space travel experience as saying, 'Looking at Earth was obviously very special; But when you look sideways, you see the dark side of space.

There, danger and unwanted feelings should not be interpreted as obstacles. The space environment is actually very harsh. And so the experience of space walking was not so peaceful.' He also compared space travel to the journey of explorers across the Atlantic Ocean.

After a five-day mission in space last September, four astronauts of the Polaris Dawn mission, including Jared Isaacman, returned safely to Earth. Jared Isaacman and SpaceX engineer Sarah Gillis became the first amateur astronauts to walk in space on that mission.
