After identifying the victim, the PBI started the investigation following the case of his father. The name of the deceased woman is known to be Amena Begum. And two are friends of Amena's husband Yasir Arafat. Nahid and Md. Irfan. PBI arrested them from Khagrachari and Baghaichari. Among these two, Irfan was working as a constable in Rangamati district. He was suspended after 21 October. Last Wednesday, they gave a confessional statement in the Chittagong Judicial Magistrate Court.

According to court sources, the accused confessed to the murder and gave a detailed description. According to their confession, Yasir Arafat, Amena's husband, called Nahid on September 30 and informed her that he had arrived from Dubai. On the night of October 1, Yasir along with Amena went to his friend Irfan's house in Chittagong's Anwara.

Nahid was already there. He planned to go out to the tunnel around three o'clock in the night. Later Irfan took them to a hill in Anwara. After going there Amena and Yasir had a fight about marriage. At one point, Irfan, a former policeman, stabbed Amena as planned. When Amena died after a while, the three of them threw the body into the drain. Later husband Yasir Arafat fled to Dubai.

According to police, this is Amena's second marriage. He had two children in his previous marriage. She has a child with Yasser Arafat. But Yasir's family did not accept Amena. Because of this, Amena was kept in a house in Baklia Taktarpool area of ​​the city. Yasir is from Dubai. He came to the country a few days ago. He married another without informing his wife Amena. Amena can find out later. There was disagreement between the husband and wife over the matter.

The investigating officer of the case PBI Chittagong District Inspector Shahadat Hossain said that the two arrested have given a confessional statement. Saturday (October 26) press conference will be given details.
