A raid team of RAB-12 Sadar Company and RAB-2, CPC-1, Mohammadpur arrested him from Rajdhani High School area of Sher Bangla Nagar police station in Dhaka on Friday night.
Detained Hossain Ali (40) is the son of artist Quddus Ali of Chak Kobdas neighborhood of Sirajganj city.
RAB-12 Sadar Company Commander Lt. Commander M Abul Hashem Sabuj said that on August 4, a picture of students protesting in Sirajganj Sadar with arms raised and attacked in a one-point demand for the downfall of the government was spread on social media. This created a sensation all over the country.
In this incident, Khatun, the artist of the city, filed a case of attempted murder at the Sadar police station of Sirajganj district. Terrorist Hussain Ali was also accused along with many others. In view of this, on Friday night, RAB raided Dhaka's Rajdhani High School area and arrested him.
