Crests were distributed among 85 best head teachers, assistant teachers and students in three categories in a ceremony organized at Payra Conference Center of Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Thursday (October 24). Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Umme Salma inaugurated the Crest distribution program.
According to related sources, National Education Week was held in the district last March. At that time there was Awami League government led by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Even then, the crest was not distributed among the best head teachers, assistant teachers and students who won in Taltali upazila.
The teacher of Taltali Government Model Secondary School was the best assistant teacher of National Education Week. Jasim Uddin said, the previous crest has now distributed. Organizers needed to be more careful.
Litu Chattopadhyay, secondary education officer of Taltali, said that the National Education Week program ended last March. I have distributed the crest of that program now. 10 crests were wrong. Those crests have been confiscated. Will be redistributed later after correction.
