Police said the accused has an office in Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Samuel made that office look like a court. The judge used to sit there himself.
According to the investigation sources, the accused used to trap those whose land related cases are under trial in the City Sessions Court. In exchange of money, he used to bait the cases piled up in the city sessions court to be heard in his fake court. So perfect in deception that those whose cases they thought had been tried in the original manner.
But the problem started in 2019. In that year the accused acted for the petitioner in a case relating to government land. Based on that instruction, the police found the fake court. An investigation into the incident began.
It is known that the accused Samuel introduced himself as a judge. Several people assisted him in the fraud. They were dressed as lawyers and workers of the fake court.
