Apart from this, he has a valuable place in Katli Mauza of Netrakona Sadar, a royal house in Southpara of Kendua municipality, a luxurious house in Mymensingh City Corporation area, a house named Ukil Nibas in Khampatti of Kishoreganj district town.

Due to Asim, his two sons have houses in Canada in the name of Sayak Ukil and in London in the name of Suddha Ukil. His brother Ashesh Kumar has a business and shopping mall in Chittagong with a shipping license. It is also alleged that they have a huge house in Bangalore, India.

After searching the constituency, MP Asim used to distribute Awami League party posts at upazila and union level as per his wish. People of his choice used to get all the contract work in the area. Huge amount of transactions were going through it. There is campaigning in the area, he has earned crores of rupees to make the candidate win by allocating the boat symbol of the post of chairman in the Union Parishad elections and using influence . However, this advocate of Suchtur did not raise much wealth in the constituency.

Asim Kumar and his wife Apu Ukil are accused of smuggling crores of rupees out of the country. In the meantime, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started the search for that money. The bank accounts of their entire family have also been seized by Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) of Bangladesh Bank.

After the fall of the Awami League government, at least three cases have been registered in the police station under the Speedy Trial Act against Asim Ukil and his wife Apu Ukil on charges of vandalism and vandalism. As they are absconding, they could not comment on these allegations.
