Asif Mahmud posted a picture from Ganabhaban on social media Facebook. Nahid Hasan and Mahfuz Alam are also in the film with him.
Posting the picture on his verified Facebook page, Asif wrote in the caption, 'One afternoon, in Hasina's pond....' Under that caption specifically wrote, 'B. Dr. : I couldn't catch fish because I didn't have a stick.'
Asif said in the comment box that this caption of the picture was given by Mahfuz Alam, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, who is known as the 'mastermind' of the student uprising.
On August 5, Sheikh Hasina escaped from the Ganabhaban and went to India.
On this day, the protesters entered the building and occupied it.
A month later, on September 5, the Interim Government decided to turn the Gana Bhavan into a memorial museum of the student uprising. Adviser Asif Mahmud said that this decision was made in the meeting of the advisory council that day. It was informed that the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly complete this work.
